Support

Something not working, or not making sense? Start here.

Email us and a real person replies. Duskr is made by one developer in New Zealand, so answers may take a day, but they come from someone who knows the code.

If you're reporting a problem, it helps enormously to include your iPhone model, your iOS version, and what you were doing when it happened. If a number looks wrong, tell us which food or exercise and what you expected — that's usually enough to find it.

Common questions

I paid on another device / I reinstalled and lost access.

Open Duskr and tap Restore purchase on the plans screen. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID, so anything you've bought comes back as long as you're signed in with the same one.

Where is my data, and what happens if I delete the app?

Everything lives on your device. Deleting the app deletes it with it — unless you turned on iCloud backup, in which case a copy is in your own iCloud and restoring is offered when you reinstall. There's also an export in Settings → Your data, and it's worth taking one occasionally regardless. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

My rest timer doesn't buzz my Apple Watch.

iPhone only forwards notifications to a watch when the phone is locked or its screen is off — that's Apple's behaviour and no app can change it. Put your phone down or in a pocket between sets and the alert reaches your wrist. Whether it makes a sound follows your ringer switch, so silent mode still buzzes.

A food's nutrition looks wrong.

Every branded food has been checked against its real label, but manufacturers reformulate and packaging changes. Tell us which product and what your packet says, and we'll correct it — corrections reach everyone automatically, without an app update.

Can I use Duskr on my iPad?

Not yet. Duskr is built for iPhone and we'd rather say so than ship something stretched. It'll run on an iPad at iPhone size, but it isn't designed for it.

How do I cancel a subscription?

In your Apple account settings, not in Duskr — Apple handles all billing and we can't cancel on your behalf. On your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. The free trial takes no payment method and needs no cancelling; it simply ends.
